What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Developer with a can-do attitude, passion, initiative, enthusiasm, and demonstrable experience providing technical design leadership. This role requires expertise and passion to drive the product vision to its implementation.

The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative systems thinker that can solve hard problems, chooses the right tools for the job and wants to help us build a world-class R&D team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide technical leadership to enable the team to build awesome features

• Design and build technically innovative solutions

• Research technologies and engineer complete solutions to problems

• Create beautiful, interactive, responsive, and fast user experiences (front end)

• Create a highly scalable, performant and reliable APIs and a SaaS cloud platform (back end)

• Design a fast and accurate machine learning platform that supports course creators

• Set a high bar for quality and mentor other engineers

• Hands-on in the code and contribute to the team’s efforts

What You Need To Get The Job Done

• 7+ years of solid experience creating cloud-based web applications

• A proven record of strong technical mentorship

• A commitment and drive for quality, technical excellence, and results

• Experience building large scale, high throughput web services

• Experience with continuous delivery systems and releasing reliable software in short cycles

• A high level of fluency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Python, Kubernetes / Docker

• A passion for efficiency and collaboration, with a history of establishing great relationships with other teams

• Experience with AI, Machine Learning or Deep Learning is a plus

• Curiosity and passion to constantly learn new things

Additional Information

• This is a full-time, remote position, located anywhere in Canada.

• This job is Monday – Friday during core business hours in your timezone.
